COMPANY
HISTORY
Dancing
Ham Productions, Inc. was founded in 2003, by Carol Conser of Commerce,
Michigan. Carol's interest in photography began at an early age when she was
referred to as being a “Dancing Ham” in her efforts to capture center stage in
family photo shoots. Her early slapstick camera antics quickly developed into a
passion for photography. For her 10th birthday she was given a camera.
Thereafter her vision has been refocused from subject, to viewing the world from
behind the lens. Her professional debut in photography came in 1985 when she
began working as a portrait studio photographer. Carol being a highly motivated
and creative individual quickly pursued a freelance photography career. Carol’s
freelance experience ultimately lead to a specialization of weddings and other
upscale social events. Spending 10 years as a freelance photographer Carol
desired a more challenging client base, subject matter and new technologies to
incorporate into her endeavors. This new course eventually lead to the
exploration and mastering of Green Screen Chroma-Key photography techniques, and
on-sight lab quality photo production. Clients such as Toshiba, Oakland Hills
Country Club, The Palace of Auburn Hills, Asarian Cancer Institute and many
others have sought her services. These experiences launched Dancing Ham
Productions. Today we service a broad customer base from corporate to
college and dedicated to making every event a success.
